郭慧芳, 博士, 三级研究员, 硕士生导师,主要从事害虫生物防治研究。入选江苏省“333高层次人才培养工程”中青年科学技术带头人(2007、2010,2016),获江苏省有突出贡献中青年专家(2020)、江苏省巾帼科技之星(2018)、江苏省优秀科技工作者(2010)、江苏省新长征突击手(2007)和江苏省省级机关巾帼岗位明星 (2006)等荣誉称号。为江苏省昆虫学会秘书长、中国昆虫学会和江苏省农学会理事、江苏省科学技术协会委员。

近5年来,承担国家级项目3项、省级项目3项。2000年起,针对飞虱等水稻害虫和斜纹夜蛾、烟粉虱等蔬菜害虫,在分离获得理想杀虫微生物新资源,以及发现害虫以遗传多样性和体内共生菌实现与杀虫微生物协同进化等的基础上,研发了微生物杀虫剂新产品4个,并研究了它们与其他生物杀虫资源的协同作用。作为第一完成人已获得授权专利9项、新农药证书1个,作为主要完成人获得国家科技进步二等1项、江苏省科学技术一等奖2项和江苏省成果转化一等奖1项。
